The Phoenix Celebrates Music Niagara!
Recently I had the pleasure of collaborating with Maestro Atis Bankas and Music Niagara team on one of their “At Home Concert Series”.
For more than 20 years Music Niagara has been a vital presence in the musical life of one of Canda’s most beautiful
cities: Niagara-on-the-Lake. During these difficult covid times the musicians have dedicated themselves to maintaining ties with
the community as well as with devotees of their music from across Canada, the US, and beyond.

Back to Bach and The Red Violin featuring guest soloist Emma Meinrenken.
Emma is playing the rare 1689 Baumgartner Stradivarius violin on generous loan from the Canada Council for the Arts.
(Note: the instrument is valued at 6M dollars – I looked it up!). Once you hear her playing I’m certain
you will agree that Emma is a worthy custodian of this fine instrument.
