Since 2009 Joe Ringhofer and the Phoenix Conservatory of Music have pioneered the development and popularization of online music theory courses and lessons through its Music without Borders learning platform. The PCM is proud of its student body which over the years has hailed from cities and towns across Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia), the United States (California, New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Tennessee, Arizona, Washington, Delaware), Bermuda, Europe (Italy, Great Britain), and Asia (Hong Kong, Beijing, Taiwan, Singapore)!
Every lecture and every lesson is recorded and stored so that students may access the recordings during their term of study. This is a valuable added-feature for anyone who misses a class, wishes to sign up after the course has commenced, and/or wishes to review the material covered. Make no mistake: the traditional classroom does not afford such opportunities for academic reinforcement
Fall 2017 and Winter/Spring 2018 courses are listed here.
